As you know, this year we are focusing on events from ancient history while correlating this information to current events and real world global applications. As part of the International Baccalaureate Program (IB). we will be enhancing your child's learning experience and providing them with a more worldly perspective of analyzing and understanding global events and situations. Writing will also be incorporated in conjunction with other subject areas, when applicable, to prepare our students to become more proficient in expressing their thoughts and conveying information. Looking Ahead: (ConnectEd)
Students have created individual accounts in ConnectEd so that they can access the online textbook, workbook, and study guide for each lesson. This year we only have a class set of the textbook but each student has their own workbook. The workbook may stay home, but students need to tear out our current chapter and place in their binders so that they can complete assigned pages in class. . Students are to record their individual passwords in their agendas, but have been advised to also record them in either their phone or your phone. Remember, this is their only link to their textbook outside of the classroom.
